Almost Over!!!

As this deployment draws to an end, we are counting down the days until Ben's safe return. God has kept him safe and we are so thankful. This has been a very difficult deployment. Please keep the families of the fallen Marines in your prayers. This is unimaginable to me and knowing some of these amazing men only makes it that much harder. The injured Marines need your prayers as well. The emotional stresses and physical barriers are often overwhelming. These brave men have put their lives on the line and I am proud to know them and their families. Thank you all for you support and prayers!! Not too much longer and Ben is home and safe :)

Brinnly Graduates!!

Congratulations to Brinnly!! She recently graduated from pre-school and will be starting kindergarten this coming fall. She is getting so tall and her hair is growing so long. Ben is so ready to see his baby girl!! The girls and I cant wait to show her around the new house and get lots of "girl time" in!!

I was excited to get some new pictures of Ben and some of the other guys out with him. They are doing well and have accomplished so much during their time out there. We are just 2 weeks away from closing on the house!! Ben is very excited to come home to see it all done. We picked everything out the week that he left.
1/6 has sustained casualties and many injuries to Marines during this deployment. They are tired and ready for a comfy bed and to enjoy the comforts of daily life here in the states that we all too often take for granted. So please keep them in your prayers until they are home and safe. 42 days Baby!!! Almost done :)

Gone but never forgotten

Ben and his guys lost a very good friend recently. Please keep the Desforges family in your prayers as they mourn their loss.  Josh made the ultimate sacrifice. Please keep the other 1/6 Sniper Platoon guys in your prayers. As we draw near to the end of this very difficult deployment they are tired and overworked and need our prayers now more than ever. Abby and Liv come to visit!!

We are excited to have Abby and Olivia here visiting from Ohio this week. Olivia is my God daughter and Abby is one of my best friends. We enjoyed a Mother's Day BBQ with Ashley and her kiddos and Jackie, Marc and Brennon as well. We hope to get lots done and will surely run out of time trying to accomplish it all but as always Im sure we will have fun. Olivia will be 1 this month! I can't believe how fast time flies. She is all over and keeps us all on our toes. Here are a few pics. Hope everyone has a great week. Myrtle Beach for the Weekend :)

The girls and I spent this past weekend in Myrtle Beach. It was a much needed break and we enjoyed some quality time just "us". It was a beautiful weekend. We spent all day on the beach and of course had to squeeze in some outlet mall shopping in the evening. We ate dinner with a view of the ' Gators" and enjoyed a sunrise breakfast and " Broadway at the Beach" all day Sunday. Here are a few pics. Soon BABY!!!!
