New House Update!!

Well I finally made it out to get some new pics of the new house and WOW they are moving right along!! I was surprised to see how much they had done. We are still on schedule for the end of May as of now.
Cant wait for yall to come visit us this summer!!

Modern Sniper

Well today was long and tiring and as I finally sat down at 10pm to catch some news, I found that the new "Modern Sniper"  (Advanced Sniper) was on!! This was filmed by the Military Channel when Ben was going through his advanced sniper school in August/Sept 09. If you have the Military Channel it looks like it is airing at 10pm sporadically over the next month. Seeing this makes me feel great about how good he is at his job and just reassures me he is so talented and will be home safe before we know it!

Missing Ben :( 135 Days Baby!!!

Well it has officially been 2 weeks since the invasion started. I got a very brief phone call last Monday and after about 30 seconds the phone cut out. I havent heard from him since :( I know that no news is good news and pray that the Marines of 1/6 hard continue to do a great job and stay safe. The family readiness officer said they would definitely get a call at the 30 day mark so we will see!!! I was told by some of the  wives that alot of the guys were getting severe colds due to the weather. I sent lots of different cold medicines and hope that it helps. They have also told me that they will try to get a mail drop around the 30 day mark as well. We appreciate all your prayers and are counting down the days. Stay safe Love! See you soon!

Valentine's Day 2010

 I knew this was going to be a difficult day. I last spoke to Ben on Thursday, February 11th and he told me it would be some time before we would be able to talk again which meant it was going to be very soon that they invaded Marjah. As I struggled through the next few hours after the phone call, I just prayed and asked God to keep a hand of protection on him and I found the strength to push on. As I came home from work on Friday afternoon I was surprised by a knock on the door. I opened it to a lady with a dozen long stem red roses from Ben. It made my week!! I spent the rest of the weekend with my "little" Valentines and it was good to spend some quality time at home with them. I cant wait until next year when my Valentine is here with me :)

This video was on CNN this morning. Ben and his guys are doing a great job! Please continue to pray for their safety and for wisdom for all of the quick decisions that they have to make. I will continue to post any info that I can find on our web page. Thanks again for all of your support!! We need your prayers and we know that he is going to come home safe!!
